Holbeach Neighbourhood Community Panel
This group sets priorities for the Police.According to the Lincs Police website these are the current local priorities.
1. The illegal parking of vehicles in particular in Holbeach Town. There has been a reduction in calls reporting illegally parked vehicles. However, parking will continue to be a priority for the NPT until such time as the requested Traffic Warden is in place. We will be paying particular attention to issues in Barrington Gate reported by panel members recently. We issue fixed penalty notices to offenders and will continue to do so.
2. There appears to be a general disregard in Holbeach for Road Traffic Regulations by pedal cyclists. This includes riding on footpaths, ignoring traffic lights& not using cycle lights during the hours of darkness. We will be looking at various ways to improve standards of cycling in the area and in turn improve the safety of the public in general in the process.
3. Youths involved in Anti Social Behaviour around the town: - Hot spots include Church Street, Stukeley Park (and school grounds), Carters Park, Tesco. Reports of Criminal Damage (broken windows, fences, damage to gardens and vehicles), under age drinking and littering.
